Dr. Pardeep Kaur
Orthodontist
For more than 11 years, Dr. Pardeep Kaur has been providing individuals with beautiful, confident smiles. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011 and completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014. In 2014, she received the Aesthetic Dentistry Award, and in 2020, she received her Fellowship in Craniofacial and Surgical Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Tidewater Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Cleft Lip and Palate Association. Additionally, she provides orthodontic care to children at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
Dr. Kaur is passionate about evaluating children’s orthodontic needs early and providing early intervention in order to improve their airways, sleep, and, ultimately, their growth. According to Dr. Kaur, “I am easy to talk to and am interested in learning more about each of my patients.” “I enjoy creating smiles for my patients as well as getting to know them better.” She is dedicated to serving her community by providing high-quality orthodontic care in a fun and caring environment using the most advanced orthodontic technology.
Dr. Kaur has been married for 16 years and is the proud mother of two daughters and a son. During her free time, she enjoys gardening, yoga, and spending time with her family.

Kathy
Orthodontic Clinician/Treatment Coordinator
Kathy brings over 20 years of orthodontic experience to our practice as our Orthodontic Clinician and Treatment Coordinator. She is a highly qualified clinician who holds a diploma in Medical Radiography Technology and is certified in CPR. Kathy is committed to making sure patients understand their orthodontic treatment needs and looks forward to assisting them in achieving the smile of their dreams. In order to obtain a deeper understanding of our patients, she spends quality time with them and makes a conscious effort to get to know them personally.
Creating beautiful smiles is Kathy’s passion at Coastal Orthodontics. According to her, she treats her patients as if they were her own family. “There is always a smile on my face and I enjoy my conversations with them.” She is also pleased to be part of the team at Coastal Orthodontics because “Dr. Kaur is not only an exceptional orthodontist but also very kind and caring.” “She values her patients and her employees as much as we value her!”
Kathy is a mother to three sons and a grandmother to three adorable grandchildren. Her family is everything to her. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music and taking dance lessons, and she was even on a dance team with her son for nine years.

Clinical Assistant
Mariel is a clinical assistant at Coastal Orthodontics and an integral member of the team. She ensures that every patient feels important and spends as much time as possible building relationships with them. It is Mariel’s pleasure to get to know each of our patients personally and see them fall in love with their new smiles.
Mariel takes great pride in knowing that she has contributed to individuals feeling confident in their smiles. She states that she enjoys being a part of the team at Coastal Orthodontics because it is an amazing work environment and the staff is so kind and welcoming. According to her, “We all share the same goal of providing the highest quality of care to our patients.”
Mariel enjoys spending time with her husband, her four boys, and their two dogs when she is not in the office.

Financial Coordinator
Nikki is our Financial Coordinator at Coastal Orthodontics. She ensures that every patient is well informed regarding any financial information and is always available to answer any questions. It is Nikki’s pleasure to assist patients in achieving the smile of their dreams.

Orthodontic Assistant
Anna is an Orthodontic Assistant with over 6 years of experience. She finds it extremely rewarding to assist individuals in improving their smiles in order to improve their quality of life. She enjoys interacting with patients and building relationships with them, as well as watching them progress throughout their treatment.
Anna enjoys spending time with patients and says, “I remember the little details about our interactions and love to play around with them.” “It is fun to watch them grow up.” The reason Anna enjoys working at Coastal Orthodontics is that “Dr. Kaur is so kind and truly cares for both her patients and the staff.” “The atmosphere is very relaxed, and our team gets along well.”
The daughter of an orthodontist, Anna has one sister who is also an orthodontist, as well as a mother and sister who have worked in the orthodontic field. Her husband is her best friend, who was a former patient of her father’s, which they realized after they met. Anna enjoys spending time with her family and is very proud of her dog and sweet nieces.
